It took you 9 months to have a baby, it’ll likely take you at least that same amount of time to get your body back. It’s fair to say it will never look exactly the same as it was before though – your hips may be slightly larger, stomach a little stretched out, maybe some extra fat will be lingering in new places.
In sickness and health…
It’s been a while, I know. We’ve been away for spring break visiting my family which would have been fun had everyone not been sick. Continue reading
Pets, husbands, and babies…
Often times, our pets are our first “babies.” You need to feed them, give them attention, clean up their poop, take them to the doctor, and clean up their messes. It is the first time, as an adult, that you may have been responsible for any being besides yourself. Your pet is your friend, maybe confidant, and a loyal companion who doesn’t judge, talk back or demand too much.

14lb babies – really? and my 1st birth story, part 1…
I keep seeing reports about giant babies (which I have no idea how any woman could pass through her) and wonder if they are a hoax or in fact, real. To be honest, I know a lot of people, and the biggest baby I’ve ever heard of was 10 something, 9 seems to be more common for a bigger baby. Continue reading
